Deccan Farm Equipment Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur is manufacturer and supplier of rotary tillers and hydraulic reversible plough of various models. Annapurna Machinenfabrik Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur is mother company to this group, which manufactures Sugarcane Trash Cutting Machine & Ratoon Manager.

Tie Ups:

Deccan Farm Equipment Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur is having tie up with John Deere & Mahindra Tractors Ltd for exclusive supply of Rotary Tiller for special Tractor models.

Where as Annapurna Machinenfabrik Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur is having tie up with John Deere to supply Ratoon Manager for their tractors as a exclusive implement. And tie up with Mahindra Tractor Ltd. for supply of Sugarcane Solution (Sugarcane Harvestor, Sugarcane De-To-Thresher,  Sugarcane Loader & Sickle Sword etc.)

Joint Venture:

Deccan Farm Equipment Pvt. Ltd. is having joint venture with Brevigliery, Verona Italy to produce Special Rotary Tillers in India.

History:

The first step of manufacturing agricultural implements evolved in the year1987. During this period our Managing Director Mr. Bharat. Patil, was studying at Walchand College Of Engineering, Sangli. It was his brain child to initiate manufacturing the first Rotary Tiller as a project for the final year of his college. This prototype was manufactured for a local farmer in exchange of Rs. 1200 only. This Tiller was manufactured using material such as jeep differential & sprocket from automobile scrap market.

This Proto Tiller became so famous that the farmers in the nearby vicinity started requesting our MD to build similar Rotary Tillers for them, thus initiating a big leap in the field of rotary tiller manufacturing. This industry which started in a small way, today manufactures around 2000 Agri implements per year.
